The Saturday Dress exhibits at flagship London event
A new flagship event in the heart of London will feature The Saturday Dress, a tenant from the Turner Dumbrell Workshops.
The Saturday Dress has been invited to take part in Frock Me! Victoria at the Royal Horticultural Halls in Victoria on Sunday November 17th.
This new fair will bring together leading vintage fashion, antique textile and vintage jewellery dealers from around the country.
Kate O’Donnell, owner of The Saturday Dress, said: “I have been exhibiting my carefully selected vintage clothing with Frock Me! In London for over five years and it is always exciting to take part in their fairs.”
The fairs have attracted designers from international fashion houses as well as costumiers for film and television. Celebrities from the music and film industry such as Oscar-winning costume designer Holly Waddington, FKA Twigs, lead vocalist Florence Welch and Hamish Bowles fashion journalist and collector are regular visitors to these fairs.
The vast cathedral-like Royal Horticultural Halls on London’s largest square has been hosting exhibitions, fashion shows and antique fairs for over 120 years. Kate said: “It is a very beautiful venue and I am very proud and excited to be part of this new event.”
Kate added: “I am always looking for interesting vintage clothing and textiles. If you have anything you are thinking of selling please email me at thesaturdaydress@icloud.com. I can visit you at your home or welcome you at my studio at Unit 15 at the Turner Dumbrell Workshops. You can follow me on Instagram @the_saturday_dress.”
